This presentation by Associate Professor Edoardo Aromataris (Director, Synthesis Science) from the Joanna Briggs Institute will:

introduce the key elements and purpose of a systematic review

discuss the evolving range of review types, including umbrella reviews, rapid reviews etc

emphasise the increased use in disciplines beyond health (including the social sciences, humanities and life sciences)

outline some search frameworks (beyond PICO) that can be used within such reviews eg. CoCoPop, SPIDER etc
-
showcase SUMARI, the JBI tool designed to assist researchers who undertake systematic reviews
